Russia invades Ukraine, all-out defense declared, could this be the beginning of WWIII?

Let’s take a look at this War and where it started.
After weeks of considerable diplomacy and the imposition of Western sanctions on Russia failed to deter Putin, who had massed between 150,000 and 200,000 troops along the borders of Ukraine. The assault brought an end to weeks of fruitless diplomatic efforts by Western leaders to avert war.
Russia has demanded an end to NATO’s eastward expansion and said Ukrainian membership of the US-led Atlantic military alliance was unacceptable.
