Living pain and inflammation free, shouldn’t be so damn hard nowadays

A​fter 5 years struggling with chronic illnesses and no success in getting rid of my chronic pain, I’ve had to come to terms with the fact that food plays a key role in how we feel in a regular basis.

Now, we think food and our brains automatically will associate it all to the wellness industry. And if you’re a little like me, by now you may be feeling tired of that industry’s culture.

I used to resent the constant advertising and lying. “Try this or try that, it should fix you”. (All while targeting the basic human need to feel like others and to avoid being too different from the rest).

Embracing the realest versions of ourselves takes courage and I​ don’t see many people out there (in the so-called Wellness World) being honest. It must be the perfectionism of it all, that escalates from obsessive to toxic very quickly.

You have to have your feet on the ground to be able to see that healing is not at all pretty, much less is instagrammable.
